What are the guidelines for sellers on Wanelo?

Wanelo strives to ensure the best shopping experience for customers, so it is required that all stores selling on Wanelo adhere to the following policies.  

Failure to follow these guidelines is a violation of our Merchant Terms of Service Agreement and can result in the suspension of your Wanelo store page. This will not only prevent you from further selling with us, but will also completely remove your store page from Wanelo.

  • Your products must be physical -- digital downloads are not supported at this time.
  • All contact information (including a valid email address and location) must be visible on your website.
  • Your store policies for shipping, returns and exchanges must be visible on your website.
  • Your delivery timeframe must be accurate.
  • The images on your website must be your own and not infringe on any copyrights.
  • You must “fulfill” orders with tracking numbers or “cancel” orders from Wanelo in a timely manner.
    • Now that you’re selling on Wanelo, you may find an increased number of orders! We strongly encourage fulfilling them with tracking numbers as soon as they come in to prevent any order backlog.
    • When you have processed a Wanelo order, you must click 'fulfill' in Shopify. This is the only way Wanelo can know if an order is fulfilled. The Wanelo Shopify App can only connect to information in your Shopify account.
    • Your cancellation rate must be 5% or lower.
  • All orders must have tracking numbers including carriers or tracking URLs.
  • Wanelo can require proof of delivery on escalated cases (i.e. when a customer declares they have not received an order).
  • We expect timely communication and responsiveness from all sellers on Wanelo. If a Wanelo team member reaches out regarding a customer inquiry, please respond within 24 hours. If we do not receive a response, Wanelo has the ability to cancel or refund the order in question.
  • Stores that dropship require additional verification. If you are an active seller on eBay, Amazon or another established marketplace, send us the link to your storefront in order to expedite your approval.
  • The following behavior is grounds for disabling a store from selling on Wanelo:
    • Product misrepresentation
    • Delayed order fulfillment
    • Delayed communication
    • Negative customer reviews
    • Negative product reviews
    • Selling products that Wanelo prohibits
